Football Game Preview: Dr. Phillips Panthers vs. Jupiter Warriors + Official Tickets

Two dominant backs in Zion Matthews and Jayden Roberts are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. After each having a week off, the Dr. Phillips Panthers and the Jupiter Warriors will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Dr. Phillips 14.3, Jupiter 8.6) so any points scored will be well earned.

Things were looking good for Dr. Phillips after they put the first points on the board two weeks ago, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 28-19 to West Orange. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 7-0 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Jupiter put another one in the bag two weeks ago to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 42-0 victory over South Fork. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won seven matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Dr. Phillips better keep an eye on Andrew Embick. He was instrumental in Jupiter's win, throwing for 241 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. Those five passing touchdowns gave Embick a new career-high.

Jupiter's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Dr. Phillips, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Everything came up roses for Dr. Phillips against Jupiter when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 35-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
