Baseball Recap: Folsom Falls Short of Franklin in the Playoffs

Folsom and Franklin squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Folsom had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 11-2. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Folsom saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Blinn, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Folsom's defeat dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Franklin, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-7.

Folsom does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Franklin, they will take on Oak Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
