After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lumberton, Seventy-First was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Douglas Byrd Eagles as Seventy-First made off with a 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won three contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Nasir Nelson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over 5.1 innings pitched. Seventy-First is undefeated when Nelson posts eight or more strikeouts, but 0-7 otherwise. Nelson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
