Soccer Recap: Dominican Comes Up Short

If Dominican was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Racine Lutheran last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Joseph Lancers on Monday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Dominican couldn't quite close it out.

Dominican has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8-1 record this season. As for St. Joseph, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Dominican wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-2 loss against St. Thomas More on the 8th. As for St. Joseph, they will square off against Kenosha Christian Life at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
