Football Recap: Carver Comes Up Short

Carver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the West Bridgewater Wildcats and fell 28-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Crusaders were not able to get on the board.

Nathan Helms threw for 55 yards on seven of 15 attempts.

Carver's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for West Bridgewater, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Carver didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-18 victory against Upper Cape Cod RVT on the 6th. As for West Bridgewater, they have also already played their next contest, a 36-6 win against St. Bernard's Central Catholic on the 7th.
