Basketball Recap: Miriam Kirkland's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Peachtree Baptist Academy over Kings Way Christian School

Peachtree Baptist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 35-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kings Way Christian School Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 27-26 two weeks ago.

Peachtree Baptist Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Miriam Kirkland, who posted eight points. Mackenzie Reed was another key player, putting up nine points.

Peachtree Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Kings Way Christian School, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Peachtree Baptist Academy will face off against Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kings Way Christian School, they will be taking part in a tournament against Victory Baptist at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kings Way Christian School is facing Victory Baptist at the right time seeing as Victory Baptist is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
