Basketball Recap: Triangle Math & Science Triumphs

If River Mill wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Triangle Math & Science, they should've done a better job of containing Ahmed Omer. The Triangle Math & Science Tigers came out on top against the River Mill Jaguars by a score of 52-44 on Tuesday thanks in part to Omer, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Triangle Math & Science's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for River Mill, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-18.

Triangle Math & Science wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 74-51 defeat against Chatham Charter on the 30th. River Mill has also already played their next game, an 86-12 loss against Southern Wake Academy on the 30th.
