Volleyball Recap: Crismon Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Combs on Tuesday, Crismon came back down to earth. The Rattlers came up short against the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles on Thursday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Rattlers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Crismon was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-8, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Aubrey Alexander and Camryn Gallup, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Payton Goltz and her eight assists. Ryann Atkin controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Crismon's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-13 record this season.

Crismon will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Poston Butte at 6:00 p.m. on October 6. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against ALA - Queen Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
