Volleyball Recap: Highland's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Highland didn't have the best season last year (they finished 14-19-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bishop Kelly Knights on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on three straight.

While Highland might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Bishop Kelly scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20.

Kennedi Winder paced Highland's offense, picking up seven kills. Winder got some help from Britt Reno and her eight assists. Winder was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Highland's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Bishop Kelly, they moved to 5-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Highland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Bonneville on the 19th. As for Bishop Kelly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Non Varsity Opponent on the 19th.
