Volleyball Recap: Mt. Carmel Finds Playoff Glory Versus Prairieville

Mt. Carmel had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Prairieville Hurricanes with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cubs.

Leading Mt. Carmel to victory were Ali Offner and Sarah Clement. Offner had seven digs and one assist, while Clement had 37 assists and nine digs. Clement is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 19 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

Mt. Carmel's win bumped their record up to 37-5. As for Prairieville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

As of now, neither Mt. Carmel nor the Hurricanes have any future games scheduled.
