Hebron hadn't done well against Flower Mound recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Hawks put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Hawks, who have now won seven contests in a row.

Hebron never let Flower Mound on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-8.

Taylor Johnson paced Hebron's offense, picking up 16 kills. Johnson got some help from Kamryn Mullican and her 26 assists. Marley Rogers controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Hebron's win bumped their record up to 26-11. As for Flower Mound, they moved to 33-8 with that loss, which also ended their 22-match winning streak.

Coming up, Hebron will take on McKinney North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Flower Mound does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
