Soccer Game Preview: Estes Park vs. SkyView Academy

The Estes Park Bobcats will square off against the SkyView Academy Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Estes Park's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Estes Park fell victim to Union Colony Prep and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Timberwolves.

Meanwhile, SkyView Academy hasn't lost a match since April 11th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Gilpin County with a sharp 9-1 win. Considering SkyView Academy have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Gilpin County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Maggie Barrett (4), Elena Telesin (3), Kadyn D'Andrea, and Violet Chase.

SkyView Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-1-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those five matches. As for Estes Park, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1.
