Basketball Recap: Master's Academy Piles Up the Points Against P.K. Yonge

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Master's Academy walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 80-48 win over the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won five contests in a row.

Master's Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noah Rogers led the charge by going 6-for-8 en route to 14 points. What's more, Rogers also racked up four boards, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Jack Kaley was another key player, going 6-for-13 on his way to 17 points.

Master's Academy pushed their record up to 23-5 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points over those games. As for P.K. Yonge, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-17.

Looking ahead, Master's Academy will square off against The First Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. P.K. Yonge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
