Basketball Game Preview: Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders vs. Ogden Bulldogs

The Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders will venture away from home to square off against the Ogden Bulldogs at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Ogden took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Coon Rapids-Bayard, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Coon Rapids-Bayard took their game with ease, bagging a 50-4 win over Paton-Churdan. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Ogden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 81-7 loss at the hands of Woodward-Granger.

Coon Rapids-Bayard's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Ogden, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14.

Everything came up roses for Coon Rapids-Bayard against Ogden in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 67-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Coon Rapids-Bayard since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
