Baseball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Fernando Carrasquel and Harrison Small Lead Cypress Lake to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Charlotte, Cypress Lake was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Dunbar Tigers a 20-0 shutout. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Harrison Small and Fernando Carrasquel made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Small tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Carrasquel pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). At bat, Small scored two runs while getting on base in both of his plate appearances, while Carrasquel scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Carrasquel also put up two hits, which were his first of the season.
