There's no place like home for Alexander, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Federal Hocking Lancers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Alexander was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-19.

Meena Juedes paced Alexander's offense, picking up 14 kills. Juedes got some help from Laney Douglas and her 32 assists. Douglas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The victory got Alexander back to even at 1-1. As for Federal Hocking, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Alexander will head out to challenge Jackson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Federal Hocking, they will host Belpre at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Lancers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
