Basketball Recap: Granger Christian Comes Up Short

Granger Christian played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Saint Thomas More Academy Griffins 68-21. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-10.

Noah Kloska had an outrageously good game for Saint Thomas More Academy as he shot 56% from the field en route to 24 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Kloska, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 13 points along with six boards and three steals.

Granger Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Granger Christian and Saint Thomas More Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Knights see the court they'll take on River City J at 3:00 p.m. on January 3, 2026. As for Saint Thomas More Academy, their break will end when they face Benton HomeSchool at 8:00 p.m. on December 4.
