Cherokee extended their losing streak to eight on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 2-11 in the process. They came up short against the Robbinsville Black Knights, falling 12-1. If the Braves were looking for revenge after losing 9-2 to the Black Knights when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Shiloh Woodson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.

On Robbinsville's side, Luke Lovin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Lovin also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Robbinsville is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 3-14 otherwise.
