Volleyball Recap: Decatur Central Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Perry Meridian, Decatur Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Indianapolis Arsenal Technical Titans as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Decatur Central took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-14.

Their offense was headlined by Kaylynn Napier and Zaylah Headley-Bailey, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Isabelle 'Belle' Asher and her four assists. Mariangel 'Angel' Gomez-Rivera controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Decatur Central's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.
