Preview: Dickinson vs. Ferris
On Friday Ferris take on Dickinson at 7:00 PM. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses for Ferris and four for Dickinson.
There's no need to mince words: Ferris lost to Barringer last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 6-43. Ferris's loss came about despite a quality game from junior Jamar Best, who picked up 68 yards on the ground. In fact, with nine tackles Best was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Dickinson found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-37 punch to the gut against Memorial.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
