Volleyball Recap: Couch Has No Trouble Against Viola

Couch not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 29th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Viola Longhorns as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Couch took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-9, 25-9.

Couch can attribute much of their success to Chloe Combs, who had nine kills and four aces. Combs is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last eight games she's played dating back to last season.

Couch's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Viola, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Couch has already played their next game (against Koshkonong), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Viola also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Mountain Home Christian Academy.
