Baseball Recap: West Craven Takes a Loss

West Craven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Washington Pam Pack. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pam Pack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-7 last Tuesday.

West Craven's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Washington, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

West Craven didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against New Bern on the 24th. As for Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 11-5 win against Farmville Central on the 25th.
