Soccer Game Preview: Alleghany vs. East Surry

The Alleghany Trojans will square off against the East Surry Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alleghany has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Alleghany lost 5-1 to North Surry on Monday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Greyhounds recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, East Surry put another one in the bag two weeks ago to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past East Wilkes 5-1. That's two games straight that East Surry has won by exactly four goals.

East Surry's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three contests. As for Alleghany, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1.
