Soccer Recap: Shaw Takes a Loss

Shaw came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-0 to the West Geauga Wolverines. While losing is never fun, Shaw can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 483rd, while West Geauga are ranked 143rd).

Shaw's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for West Geauga, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

Shaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Geauga, they will face off against Edgewood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
