River Ridge won the last time they faced De Soto and things went their way on Friday too. The Timberwolves blew past the Pirates 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Timberwolves, who have now won seven matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for River Ridge and bumps their season record up to 10-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for De Soto, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. River Ridge will venture away from home to face off against Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for De Soto, they will head out to square off against Ithaca/Weston at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
