Recap: Jefferson Davis County Jaguars vs. East Marion Eagles
The Jefferson Davis County Jaguars entered their tilt with the East Marion Eagles with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Jefferson Davis County came out on top against East Marion by a score of 74-63 on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, East Marion still got an impressive performance from Donny Anderson, who scored 31 points along with six rebounds. The match was Anderson's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lozavious Armstrong, who scored four points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Jefferson Davis County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for East Marion, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Jefferson Davis County will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Gentry at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Marion, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Seminary at 7:30 p.m. on December 28th.
