Basketball Game Preview: Rockwall-Heath Hawks vs. North Forney Falcons

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Rockwall-Heath Hawks duke it out with the North Forney Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday... Rockwall-Heath is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Rockwall-Heath came up short against Tyler Legacy and fell 47-35. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 477th, while the Raiders are ranked 61st).

Meanwhile, North Forney lost to Tyler Legacy on the road by a 43-28 margin on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now lost four in a row.

North Forney's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Rockwall-Heath, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-17.

Rockwall-Heath didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against North Forney when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 52-46 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rockwall-Heath since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
