It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hitchcock can now relate to. They fell just short of the Onalaska Wildcats by a score of 88-85 on Friday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.

Onalaska's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Wyatt Reyes led the charge by going 8-for-16 on his way to 20 points and six boards. That's the most points Reyes has posted since back in December of 2024. Brayden Topkins was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

Hitchcock's loss dropped their record down to 26-9. As for Onalaska, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-6 record this season.

Hitchcock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Onalaska, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats take on the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Onalaska surely won't give up without a fight.
