Rudyard waltzed into their contest on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Brimley Bays an 11-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-1 on May 12th.

Rudyard's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Brimley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Rudyard wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-1 victory against Pickford on the 29th. Brimley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
