Sardis entered their tilt with Etowah on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with an 11-6 win over the Blue Devils. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Levi Martin was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

Sardis' victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Etowah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Sardis will take on North Jackson at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Etowah, they will venture away from home to take on Hazel Green at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Blue Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
