Football Game Preview: Reading Red KNights vs. Hempfield Black Knights

Reading hasn't had much luck against Hempfield recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Red KNights will be playing at home against the Black Knights at 7:00 p.m. Reading has given up an average of 40.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Reading took a blow against Oxford, falling 44-12. While losing is never fun, the Red KNights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 436th, while the Hornets are ranked 189th).

Meanwhile, Hempfield humbled Cedar Crest with a 43-13 victory. The result was nothing new for the Black Knights, who have now won three contests by 27 points or more so far this season.

Reading's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hempfield, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
