Football Recap: Texhoma/Goodwell Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Texhoma/Goodwell finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 41-6 loss at the hands of the Thomas-Fay-Custer Terriers. The game marked Texhoma/Goodwell's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Texhoma/Goodwell's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Thomas-Fay-Custer, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Texhoma/Goodwell will take on rival Mangum at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, Thomas-Fay-Custer is set to square off against their familiar foe Southwest Covenant at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
