Basketball Recap: Granby Memorial Comes Up Short

Granby Memorial lost against Ellington back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Granby Memorial Bears took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ellington Knights.

Granby Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Ellington, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Granby Memorial and Ellington's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Granby Memorial and Coventry (who has only given up 27.67 points per game) will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Granby Memorial's defense has only allowed 29.6 points per game this season, so Ellington's offense will have their work cut out for them. Similarly, Ellington will challenge East Granby at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, a squad that's only allowed 26.67 points per game.
