Soccer Recap: Tyee Comes Up Short

Tyee fell victim to King and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, Tyee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while King's are ranked 84th).

This is the second loss in a row for Tyee and nudges their season record down to 3-8-1. As for King's, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2-1.

Coming up, Tyee is taking a road trip to take on Cedarcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for King's, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Quincy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Quincy's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
