Basketball Game Preview: Esko Eskomos vs. Carlton/Wrenshall

The Esko Eskomos will square off against Carlton/Wrenshall at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Esko's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Last Tuesday, Esko beat Pequot Lakes 58-50.

Meanwhile, Carlton/Wrenshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Greenway, falling 71-51.

Carlton/Wrenshall's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Esko, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Esko took their win against Carlton/Wrenshall when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 84-59. Will Esko repeat their success, or does Carlton/Wrenshall have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
