It was a good run, but Mineral Ridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 7-3 to the Lakeview Bulldogs.

AJ Sandy made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Mineral Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lakeview, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mineral Ridge will head out to take on Western Reserve at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeview, they will face off against Poland Seminary at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
