Friday just wasn't the day for West Lafayette's offense. They came up short against the Frontier Falcons on Friday, falling 6-0. The Red Devils' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

West Lafayette got a good showing from Maddox Bramer, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Bramer has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

West Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Frontier, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Lafayette will face off against Rensselaer Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Frontier, they will square off against Delphi Community at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
