Grandview put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Rice Bulldogs a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Zebras, who have now won 18 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Grandview's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Rice, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10-1.

Looking ahead, Grandview will take on Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Zebras surely won't give up without a fight. Rice does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
