Willapa Valley had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 2-1 photo finish over the Lake Quinault Elks. The two-point effort marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Willapa Valley is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Lake Quinault, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-13.
