Oconto has gone 8-2 against Algoma recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Oconto Blue Devils will challenge the Algoma Wolves at 2:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Oconto earned a 51-41 win over Sturgeon Bay. The 51-point effort marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Algoma, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against Valders on Monday as Algoma made off with a 69-49 victory. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Oconto is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Algoma, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Oconto came up short against Algoma in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 61-56. Can Oconto avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
