Greeneville was the team made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fourth to first in AA District 2. Earlier in the week, the Green Devils triumphed over Morristown-Hamblen West 40-0.

Chuckey-Doak and South Greene played the closest game in the league this week, with Chuckey-Doak eventually emerging with a 12-7 victory.

Cumberland Gap's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dakota Brock threw for 71 and 4 touchdowns and Sterling Provins had 34 yards receiving. On the ground Jeremiah Lorens contributed 121 yards. Chase Smith helped Cumberland Gap's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 15 yards.
