Softball Recap: Colo-NESCO Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last three times Colo-NESCO and GMG had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Royals fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Royals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in June of 2023.

Colo-NESCO's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for GMG, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Colo-NESCO is set to face off against their familiar foe North Tama at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, GMG will challenge rival Baxter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
