Grandview Prep picks up 13th straight win at home

Recap: Grandview Prep Pride vs. Morningside Academy Eagles

The Grandview Prep Pride had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.6 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They came out on top against Morningside Academy by a score of 48-39. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Grandview Prep has scored all season.

Grandview Prep had a senior duo take command as Markenson Jordonne scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals and Marco Jordonne scored 20 points along with six rebounds. Jordonne has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Jaiden Colquuhoun was another key contributor, scoring four points along with two steals.

Grandview Prep pushed their record up to 14-3 with that victory, which was their 13th straight at home. As for Morningside Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grandview Prep will stay at home for another game and welcome Boca Raton at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Morningside Academy will take on Dreyfoos School of the Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
