After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jonathan Alder, Northwestern was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Woodridge Bulldogs 16-1. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won five matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Northwestern's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Woodridge, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

Northwestern wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 18-1 defeat against Wellston on the 19th. As for Woodridge, they have also already played their next game, an 8-0 loss against Symmes Valley on the 19th.
