Volleyball Recap: Romeoville Takes a Loss

Romeoville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Joliet West Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-5.

Romeoville's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Joliet West, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Romeoville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lake Park on the 12th. As for Joliet West, they will head out on the road to square off against Plainfield North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
