Volleyball Recap: High Tech CV Comes Up Short

High Tech CV lost against Victory Christian Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bruins fell 2-0 to the Knights. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King California paced High Tech CV's offense, picking up six kills. California got some help from Maxwell Lazo and his nine assists.

Victory Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brad Chier out in front who had eight kills, five digs, and five aces. Chier is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had seven or more in each of the last 16 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Esteban Torres, who had 19 assists and two aces.

High Tech CV now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Victory Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

High Tech CV wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Mount Miguel on the 18th. As for Victory Christian Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Mission Bay on the 18th.
