Basketball Recap: West Feliciana Takes a Loss

West Feliciana has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Broadmoor Buccaneers. The Saints were not able to make up for their defeat to the Buccaneers from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, West Feliciana still got an impressive performance from Travis Lathers, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Dashard White, who put up nine points.

West Feliciana's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Broadmoor, they pushed their record up to 14-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

West Feliciana will venture away from home to challenge Belaire at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Broadmoor, they will challenge McKinley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. McKinley will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Broadmoor surely won't give up without a fight.
