Austyn Modrzewski Goes Supernova in Mountain Vista Win

Mountain Vista picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Austyn Modrzewski. Modrzewski did his part (and then some), throwing for 367 yards and six touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes for the 'W'. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season.

ThunderRidge had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Modrzewski it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Modrzewski saw the Grizzlies), he threw for 451 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes.

Tyler Meyer Turns in Season-Best Effort

On Saturday, Rock Canyon got the W thanks in part to Tyler Meyer playing the best football he has all season. Meyer's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 106 rushing yards.

Meyer and Rock Canyon will venture away from home to take on Castle View at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Meyer up against the Sabercats' star rusher Aaron Perry. Will the game be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Spence Made His Presence Known in Valor Christian's 34-6 Win

Cash Spence was a major factor in Valor Christian's victory over Castle View on Friday. Nobody could stop Spence as he rushed for 36 yards and three touchdowns.

Valor Christian's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Spence will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on ThunderRidge on Friday.

Mountain Vista picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jakhai Mack. Mack turned in nothing short of a gem, making three total tackles.
