Recap: BASIS - Scottsdale Bulldogs vs. Skyline Prep Bengals
The BASIS - Scottsdale Bulldogs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Skyline Prep 62-26 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win BASIS - Scottsdale has managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead BASIS - Scottsdale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Blake Tropper, who scored 15 points along with eight steals. Tropper hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Nithish Prakash, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
BASIS - Scottsdale's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Skyline Prep, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
BASIS - Scottsdale won't have much time to rest: their next match is against BASIS - Chandler at 6:45 p.m. on January 26th. As for Skyline Prep, they will be playing at home against Academy of Sports Science at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
