Basketball Recap: St. Paul Comes Up Short

St. Paul was the 56-50 winner over Centura when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Paul Wildcats took a 44-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centura Centurions.

Among those leading the charge was Weston Kroeger, who went 5 for 10 en route to 14 points and three steals. Those three steals gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Dvorak, who posted seven points.

St. Paul dropped their record down to 5-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Centura, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Ravenna the next time they take the court. Centura will head out to face Ravenna at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while St. Paul will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th.
